Meet the professor

Professor Jaimalee is an experienced professor and nurse. Starting her career in 2005 as a nurse extern, she then graduated from an associate's degree nursing program with her RN. She successfully gained employment right out of school in the Emergency room. She immediately began pursuing her BSN from a local university while working full time in the ER. She began teaching at the community level as an adjunct clinical professor. She continued teaching until clinicals for her NP program demanded more time and she had to give up teaching. She started her NP program in 2011 and by 2014, she was a practicing NP, specializing in Family Practice and Endocrinology. She has been working full time in her Endocrinology field for 10 years. Her nursing experience included charge, triage and staff nurse for 8 years. She was a Certified ER Nurse, taking the certification exam in 2008.  She was also a SAFE/SANE nurse while working in the ER for those 8 years.  After getting a few years under her belt as a new NP, she started teaching for a local university in the MSN and BSN tracks.
